What we collect, why, and where it goes. Last updated July 23, 2026 (added lawful basis, rights & erasure process, Sheets access).
The Premier League (TPL) is a competitive Hell Let Loose league. To run it, we collect the minimum identity data needed to know who is on which team (Discord ID, in-game name, and game platform ID), plus your match performance statistics during league games. We do not collect your email, we do not run any analytics or tracking scripts, and we do not sell data to anyone. Some data passes through the third-party services listed below so the league can function.
Signing in uses Discord OAuth with the identify, guilds, and guilds.members.read scopes. We receive your Discord ID, username, display name, avatar, and your role list in the TPL Discord server(s). We never request the email scope, so we never see your email address.
When a team registers or manages its roster, we store player in-game names (gamertags), game platform IDs (Steam64 for PC, console ID for Xbox/PlayStation), Discord IDs, platform, region, preferred roles, team details (name, tag, description, timezone, Discord invite link), and uploaded team logos / player icons. Roster data is usually submitted by your team captain — captains are responsible for having their players' permission before submitting it.
During league matches only, our bot polls the game server about every 30 seconds and records per-player performance: kills, deaths, assists, team kills, vehicle kills, score categories (combat / offense / defense / support), role, squad, clan tag, level, playtime, and per-weapon kill counts. We keep per-match records and career totals. We do not record player position/coordinate data, and no collection happens outside league matches.
Messages you write in Discord support tickets are stored, including author names/IDs, message text, and attachment links. Full ticket transcripts are kept after the ticket closes so staff can reference past decisions. Player reports, appeals, and rulings (including descriptions and evidence links) are also stored.
Free-agent listings (availability notes, preferred roles), fantasy league entries and predictions (your Discord ID, username, fantasy team name), and streamer profiles (display name, bio, channel links) are stored only if you use those features.
No email addresses. No analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. Your IP address is used only momentarily in server memory for rate limiting and is never written to a database or log.
Several league features are powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. When you use them, the relevant content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing:
Per Anthropic's commercial API terms, data sent to the API is not used to train their models.
In-game names (gamertags), team pages, standings, and match statistics are publicly visible on this site — that is the point of a competitive league. Live match stats are delayed by 15 minutes to prevent stream sniping. Game platform IDs and Discord IDs are not shown on public match pages.
The operations sheets (which include player rows: Discord ID, gamertag, Steam/game ID, team, eligibility) are private league-staff documents — they are not shared publicly and access is limited to league officials who need them to run the season. The sync uses a dedicated service account, and the sheets regenerate from the database, so corrections and erasures flow through automatically on the next sync.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what data we hold about you, correct it, or erase it. Open a support ticket in the TPL Discord (or have your captain do it). Erasure requests are handled with a dedicated anonymization process: your gamertag, game IDs, Discord link, avatar, and notes are permanently scrubbed, and the change propagates to the operations sheets on the next sync. Anonymous match statistics (e.g. "a player on Team X had 12 kills in Match Y") are retained because completed competition results can't retroactively change — the same way a goal stays in a football league's record book after a player leaves. We aim to action requests within 30 days.
League records (rosters, match stats, standings, rulings, ticket transcripts) are kept while the league operates so history, eligibility, and disputes can be handled fairly — but your identifyingdata doesn't have to stay that long: you can request anonymization at any time as described above, including after you stop playing.
This notice describes how the TPL platform actually works and is updated when the platform changes. Questions? Ask in the TPL Discord. See also the league rules.
